Be Inspiring. Plant an idea in Beth's head and watch it grow.
In September of 2005, I started an inspiration contest. The rules were simple- submit an idea. The idea can be in the form of a single word, photograph, song lyrics, movie scene, book passage, a color swatch, a noise, a sensation, etc. Participants were urged to be creative, and submit something that would inspire me to do a painting. The winner would be whoever's idea inspired me most, and they in turn would get the final painting to keep. Congratulations to Tony, who inspired me with the song lyrics to an Elton John song.
